I am a Spanish teacher with several years of experience working with middle school and high school students, including AP Spanish Language & Culture. I currently teach Spanish in Texas and have formal training in education, along with experience aligned to state standards and College Board expectations. My background includes teaching Spanish as a world language, focusing on communication, grammar in context, academic writing, and reading and listening comprehension. I have worked with students at different proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners preparing for high-stakes assessments.
Throughout my teaching career, I have taught students from grades 6 through 12 in classroom settings as well as one-on-one support environments. I have extensive experience helping students improve their grades, prepare for exams, and build confidence using Spanish in real situations. My teaching approach is structured but flexible, adapting lessons to each student’s goals, learning style, and pace. I emphasize clear explanations, guided practice, and practical application of the language so students can see steady progress.
As a tutor, I create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. Whether a student needs academic support, AP Spanish preparation, or help strengthening foundational skills, I focus on helping them develop confidence, accuracy, and long-term success in Spanish.
