Hello my name is Megan!
I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant with a passion for reading, writing, speech services, and Bible studies! I have a Bachelor of Science Degree and majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I love to help children and adults gain confidence in their communication skills such as reading, writing, speaking, and pragmatics (turn taking, listening, etc.). Last year I had the privilege of working in a pediatric clinic with individuals requiring these services as well as those who may need assistance managing a diagnosis of ADHD and/or ASD. Additionally, I have a limited but growing education in alternative communication for nonverbal students (and their parents!) using or learning to use AAC devices.
In addition to my professional experience in speech and language services, I have ~2-3 years experience teaching Sunday school at my local Baptist church. This experience has further watered my passion for Bible study, creative learning, and fun activities to engage young children.
