I have volunteered in Haiti, with over 20 trips that focused on working with a deaf school and entrepreneurship program and I currently volunteer as a Team Lead for a non-profit personal development program in Austin.
My focus is on meeting each student where they are at, supporting them in their own self-discovery of the root of their learning struggles and celebrating their unique wins along the way. Math and business are my strong points and I believe that teaching students how to solve problems, not having them memorize processes, is a tool that will take them far in life, not just their current coursework.
