I'm Sharna. I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education and earned my graduated degree in School Leadership. I have been teaching for 19 years. I have experience teaching 1st through 5th grade all subjects and even 7th Grade Language Arts. I am certified to teach ESL and Gifted and Talented students. I have 13 years of experience teaching students and helping them to be successful on the state test (STAAR). In my current position I pull small groups of students and offer support in math to help close learning gaps. I love seeing the light bulb go on when a student finally gets it!!

I have 12 years of college credits learning best practices to support English Language Learners.

Taught STAAR testing grade for 10 years, and currently works with small groups of students to help close learning gaps and prepare for STAAR.
