I also have nearly three years of formal tutoring experience through the Texas Woman’s University Math & Technology Success Center. From Fall 2023 through May 2026, I provided one-on-one tutoring to undergraduate students in College Algebra and Calculus I, helping students with homework, exam preparation, problem solving, and conceptual understanding. I regularly adjusted my explanations based on each student’s needs and helped students identify mistakes in their reasoning, strengthen foundational skills, and become more confident working independently. I also provided one-on-one Physics I tutoring during a summer term when additional science tutoring support was needed.
My strongest tutoring areas are high school and college chemistry, general chemistry, and biochemistry. I enjoy breaking difficult topics into smaller, logical steps and explaining not only how to solve a problem, but why the method works. I try to adapt each session to the student, whether they learn best through worked examples, visual explanations, guided practice, or reviewing mistakes. My goal is to help students improve their understanding, prepare confidently for exams, and become more independent problem solvers.
