My education has trained me to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, which is essential when helping students build confidence in challenging material like dosage calculations and exam-style questions.
I have experience supporting other students through one-on-one academic help in informal tutoring and peer support settings, particularly with nursing fundamentals and math-based coursework. Much of this support has involved walking students through practice problems, explaining why certain answers are correct or incorrect, and helping them develop strategies for studying and test-taking. My approach focuses on clarity, repetition, and understanding the “why” behind each step, rather than memorization. I work especially well with students who feel overwhelmed or anxious, and I aim to create a calm, supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged.
