Hello, I am Gerardo, but you can call me Jerry.

I’m a university instructor with an M.S. in Mathematics and a B.B.A. in Finance who loves helping students turn struggles into successes. Since 2020, I’ve taught College Algebra, Business Math II, Introductory Statistics, and Calculus at the university level. Additionally, I’ve tutored everything from precalculus and calculus to Economics, Finance, and SAT/TSI math topics. My students range from high-school honors learners to undergrads and working professionals returning to quantitative courses.

I have experience with Zoom or Teams and an interactive whiteboard and a document camera so you can see every step as if we were at the same desk, so I am able to adjust my tutoring style to fit your requests. Whether you need a semester-long plan or a fast rescue before an exam, I’ll build a schedule that matches your goals and pace. Policies are straightforward: I offer a brief free consultation to align on goals and materials, and I ask for 6-hour notice for cancellations or reschedules.
