I'm Mario! I graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with my Bachelor's degree in Health Science, concentrating in exercise science, psychology, and public health. I am currently a first-year DPT student with a passion for both life sciences and teaching. I enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking down challenging concepts into clear, manageable pieces. I believe learning is most effective when lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailor to each student's individual needs.
My goal as a tutor is to create a welcoming learning environment that encourages curiosity, builds confidence, and challenges students to reach their full potential. I typically introduce new topics in a way that is easy to understand before reinforcing concepts through guided and individual practice problems to ensure comprehension. I adapt each lesson to match the student's learning style, pace, and academic goals.
Throughout high school and college, I informally tutored classmates and peers in subjects such as: Anatomy & Physiology I and II, General Chemistry, Physics, Psychology Courses, and Epidemiology. These sessions typically involved one to three students, allowing me to provide individualized instruction, answer questions in depth and adjust my teaching approach to students to meet their specific needs.
I look forward to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop confidence in their abilities. I value feedback from both students and parents and am always happy to adjust my approach to provide the best possible learning experience. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or scheduling inquiries.
