I have a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a strong background in teaching foundational math courses such as Pre-Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. My focus has always been on helping students build a solid understanding of core concepts that are essential for success in higher-level math. I understand that many students entering college often struggle with these subjects, so I aim to make math more approachable, clear, and less intimidating.

I have several years of experience teaching at the college level, working with students who come from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who feel underprepared in math. In my teaching, I focus on breaking problems into simple, step-by-step processes and explaining the reasoning behind each step. I also use guided examples and ask questions to keep students engaged and help them think through problems rather than just memorize procedures. My goal is to help students build confidence and develop the skills they need to solve problems independently.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have worked closely with students in one-on-one settings through office hours and extra support sessions. This has given me experience in identifying common areas where students struggle and adjusting my approach to meet individual needs. I have worked with both high school students preparing for college and college students working to strengthen their math foundation. I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and gradually gain confidence in their abilities.
