Hello, my name is Japheth. I know the struggles that many students have when learning a new language. I will do everything I can to explain complicated concepts in simpler terms. I will never forget my Professors who actually took the time to clarify the coursework instead of deeming me as a lost cause. Japheth is a great ASL tutor, he comes to each lesson prepared with learning objectives and helpful resources. In additional to the technicalities of ASL, he helped me understand how to improve my receptive skills with examples of real world Deaf signing, breaking it down in detail in a way no books or other teachers have done for me. Also, he was very flexible in adapting to my own learning style and answering my contextual questions.
