In the first class we reviewed the alphabet, spelling, and 1-20 numbers. It was super helpful to have his feedback and to practice reading his signs as well. He was great and very professional. My next class with Japheth is booked.

Japheth is a great ASL tutor, he comes to each lesson prepared with learning objectives and helpful resources. In additional to the technicalities of ASL, he helped me understand how to improve my receptive skills with examples of real world Deaf signing, breaking it down in detail in a way no books or other teachers have done for me. Also, he was very flexible in adapting to my own learning style and answering my contextual questions.
