I have worked: in the retail security business for K Mart, Montgomery Wards, and Sears, a correctional specialist/trainer, deputy clerk of the court at the Shawnee County Department of Corrections in Topeka Kansas, and Adult Court Services Officer for the Third Judicial District Court, Topeka Kansas. I began my career with the Federal Bureau of Prison as a Case Manager and promoted to positions of greater responsibilities as a Unit Manager, Executive Assistant, Associate Warden and Warden. Upon retirement I worked as an Independent Correctional Consultant conducting Quality Assurance Reviews on non federal facilities housing US Marshal detainees.
