I have 12 years of pharmacy work experience. I work in a hospital pharmacy with the busiest Emergency Department in all of Austin. I am a pharmacy buyer, which is a fancy way of saying I buy drugs for my entire hospital system and 3 auxiliary sites. As a pharmacy buyer, you need to know your drugs. This is my field.
English is my second language, but has become my dominate language. As a young child, I was placed in ESL classes. I remember saying to myself that I need to get out of this extra class. I now speak English very well. I would love the opportunity to help other students who have the same burning passion as I did as a young child to also achieve.
Penmanship is very important, regardless if you have a computer and can type everything out. This soon to be art form has fallen off the radar. Writing is important and is something I am passionate about.
