I'm a Schreiner University graduate with a B.A. in Psychology and History who has more than seven years of experience working as an editor, researcher, writer, and coach at an academic publishing company specializing in the creation of tests and study materials for contestants participating in the University Interscholastic League, National History Bee and Bowl, National Spelling Bee, and other events.

Prior to my time in publishing, I spent three years tutoring at Schreiner University's Writing Center in addition to its Teaching and Learning Center. In these roles, I received a solid training in nondirective tutoring and conducted and presented research on tutoring methodology at the South Central Writing Center Association's conference annually.

Over the course of my career, I've had the opportunity to work with students across the world of all ages and backgrounds while writing and editing a variety of published books, practice packets, and other academic materials. I love all stages of the writing process and enjoy helping students build confidence in their ability while crafting quality writing.
