Hello I am Elena, and I am from Russia. I love speaking many languages. I speak Russian, English and Chinese fluently and very basic German. I believe that speaking multiple languages opens your horizons and makes you a truly modern world citizen. I believe that anyone can learn a language with the right approach. I love teaching languages, because I can share my knowledge, not just of language, but of customs, traditions and even some history if it is interesting for my students.

I am continuing with another tutor who teaches both French and Russian, because those are my two target languages, but I had one lesson with Elena, and it was wonderful. She's a very engaging, charismatic, knowledgable person, who speaks Russian, Mandarin, some Korean, and has a fantastic command of the English language that is really helpful. She is very kind and has a fascinating background, and I can tell that she is really good at motivating her students. She's a really well-organized teacher who also loves Russian literature, and she recommended the Living Language Russian set to me, which is going to be very helpful. She also recommended The Master and the Margarita, which I'm very excited to read. She teaches from the Living Language series, and it was very motivating to hear about her other students' success with the Russian language.
