I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Special Education. I have been doing substitute teaching and tutoring for over 7 years. I am certified to teach Special Education, and this includes students with ADHD, dyslexia, learning disabilities, autism, etc.

I have ADD myself, as well as medication to go with it. I have been diagnosed with it by a medical professional. So I understand very clearly. I live with it everyday. I also have a master's degree in Special Education, where we were taught about all kinds of different disabilities and how to help people with disabilities to succeed. My M.A, is from Azusa Pacific University in CA.

I have worked as a substitute teacher for six years, and worked much of the time with elementary students. I have been tutoring for several months now with elementary students. I also have a master's degree in Education, which is K-12 grades.

I work in an English Language Arts class everyday, helping students to improve their reading, writing, and spelling skills. I know I can help your son or daughter to be successful in this area.

I have previously taught piano and keyboard lessons to people for 12 years. I have many years of experience and can teach students to read music and also play by ear. I had my own business for years, when I lived in CA. Now I live in Texas, and would like to resume teaching piano and keyboard lessons. I have played the piano for church, weddings and a funeral.

I have a A.A. degree in Liberal Arts, a B.A. degree in Sociology, and a M.A. in Special Education. I have also completed all requirements for Texas Teachers Alternative Certification Program. I have also taken and passed the Texas Special Education Exam EC-12. To accomplish all that I have accomplished, I had to have excellent knowledge and application of study skills. I know how to study and how to help others to study, highlight material to study, and how to break down material to study for tests.

I have helped many students to improve their skills in expository, personal, and narrative writing. I help students in building sentence structure, spelling, and grammar. I am sure that I can help your student improve their writing skills.
