Hello everyone. My name is James H. I have been a math teacher for 15 years and a college professor for 8 years. I have taught every content from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus. I have also taught Physics. I believe with work ethic and motivation any student can learn math. I pride myself on explaining things in a manner my students can understand.

Hello everyone. My name is James H. I have been a math teacher for 15 years and a college professor for 8 years. I have taught every content from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus. I have also taught Physics. I believe with work ethic and motivation any student can learn math. I pride myself on explaining things in a manner my students can understand.

I have taught every math concept in high school and physics. I relate well to students. I have worked with students who struggle and students who excel and had massive success with both groups. I have tutored students in SAT prep and they have shown significant growth.

I am currently teaching 4 sections of College Algebra and 1 section of Pre-AP Algebra 2. I have had a consistent high level of success getting students to have a deep and fundamental understanding of algebraic concepts that will transfer to their future math classes.

I am teaching AP Geometry. I been very successful helping my students to acquire genuine comprehension of geometry, to include geometric proofs.

I have taught Trigonometry, precalculus and calculus for over 13 years.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I have tutored and taught SAT. I teach at an early college so test prep is a built in requirement. My students have consistently shown significant gains on both the SAT and the PSAT.

Awesome experience!

James was able to schedule the day of!! My 17yr old son was fully engaged the entire time. James had very thorough knowledge of Algebra 2 and was able to explain things to my son on a level that was very understandable. My son left the hour feeling much more confident. And scheduled his own follow up session with James.
