Hello! I am currently an rising Junior in college, preparing to apply to medical school. I am originally from Houston, Texas but I go to college in Tampa, Florida. As a sophomore, I took the MCAT in January 2025 and received a 99th percentile score. My interests lie heavily in the sciences, which is reflected in my perfect scores across all 3 MCAT science sections (132, 127, 132, 132). As a tutor, I want to spread the experience that I gained from my own studying to others studying for the MCAT.
Previously, I have tutored for the SAT/ACT and premed prerequisite courses to students my age looking to increase their scores. I started tutoring in High School for the SAT, and continued through college for difficult introductory science classes. My students describe me as friendly, patient, and an effective explainer. My tutoring method generally involves understanding my students thought process, explaining content gaps, and showing my thought process to guide future thinking.
