For the past two years, I’ve worked with high school students in one-on-one tutoring settings, helping them better understand their math classes and feel less overwhelmed by challenging topics. I focus on meeting students where they are, breaking concepts down step by step, and explaining ideas in a way that actually makes sense to them. I’ve seen students grow not only in their understanding of the material, but also in their confidence and willingness to ask questions.
My goal as a math tutor is to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel supported and capable, and where math feels more approachable rather than intimidating.
