I am a first-year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine and a graduate of UT Dallas, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Neuroscience summa cum laude with honors. I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting in high school when I worked at Kumon, and continuing in college as a certified Chemistry Peer Tutor at UTD's Student Success Center. In just the past two months alone, I have completed over 30 hours of private tutoring in subjects like AP Chemistry, AP Physics, Geometry, and Algebra. I have worked with students of all ages, from elementary school learners to college students, and I specialize in helping them build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and feel more in control of challenging material.

I scored a 5 on the AP Chemistry and AP Calculus AB exams, and a 4 on AP Physics, and I bring both subject mastery and empathy to every session. Whether I am breaking down stoichiometry in AP Chemistry, walking through free-body diagrams in Physics, or helping a middle schooler make sense of Algebra for the first time, I focus on making complex topics feel approachable. I keep sessions interactive and engaging by using visuals, asking thoughtful questions, and encouraging students to think critically. My goal is to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking ownership of their learning. More than anything, I love seeing those "Aha!" moments when something clicks and a student starts to feel more confident in their abilities. If you are looking for a patient, supportive tutor who is passionate about teaching and committed to your success, I would love to work with you!

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have several years of experience tutoring Algebra 1, helping students build a strong foundation in equations, inequalities, and functions. My students often see improvements in both their confidence and their test scores. I break down complex problems into simple steps and adjust my teaching style to meet each student’s needs.
Biology

Biology

I was a teaching assistant for Biology II in college for a year, where I taught supplementary lectures and tutored college students in the subject. I also scored in the 99th percentile for the Biology/Biochemistry section of the MCAT, further showing my mastery of the subject. I received As in all of my biology coursework that I had to complete for my Neuroscience degree.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I worked as a certified Chemistry Peer Tutor for 2 years at the University of Texas at Dallas Student Success Center. I also have around 2 years of experience private tutoring students in AP Chemistry and college level General Chemistry I and II. In high school, I received a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam.
Geometry

Geometry

I have several years of experience tutoring middle and high school students in Geometry, and all of my students have shown increased confidence and improved grades. I focus on helping students understand key concepts like theorems, proofs, and coordinate geometry through clear explanations and visual strategies. My goal is to make Geometry feel approachable and intuitive, no matter the student's starting point.
MCAT

MCAT

I am an incoming medical student at Baylor College of Medicine who scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT Biology/Biochemistry section (131). I earned my degree in Neuroscience summa cum laude with honors from UT Dallas, where I completed extensive coursework in molecular biology, physiology, and biochemistry. My research experience in a biomedical lab has given me practical insights into the experimental methods commonly tested on the MCAT. In tutoring sessions, I focus on both content and critical thinking—teaching students how to break down dense passages, interpret experimental data, and master high-yield concepts.
