I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from State University, where I specialized in Middle School Education. Additionally, I earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on student engagement and inclusive teaching practices.

I have a wealth of teaching experience that spans over a decade. My journey in education began with a year-long internship in a 7th-grade classroom, where I gained valuable insights into middle school teaching. Following that, I worked as a lead teacher in a 6th-grade classroom for four years, where I implemented innovative methods to enhance students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In my teaching approach, I emphasize student-centered learning, incorporating hands-on activities and collaborative projects. I am a firm believer in differentiation to cater to various learning styles and abilities within the middle school setting. My goal is to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves and take risks in their learning.

I have also volunteered as a tutor and mentor in a local after-school program, where I provided one-on-one assistance to middle school students struggling with specific subjects. This experience allowed me to tailor my teaching methods to individual needs and help students overcome their challenges effectively.
