I am currently a junior Public Health major at Texas A&M University with a 4.0 GPA and am pursuing minors in Psychology and Business Administration. I have earned A’s in Biology, Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II, and Anatomy and Physiology, and I am currently taking Biochemistry while preparing for the MCAT. I was also accepted into Texas A&M College of Medicine’s Early Assurance Program through a merit-based pathway.
I have previous tutoring experience through ePATT, where I worked with middle and high school students in both math and reading. I focused on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps and adapting my approach based on each student’s needs and learning style. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in their abilities.
I also scored a 1500 on the SAT, including an 800 in Math, giving me a strong understanding of both the content and strategies needed to succeed on the exam. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades or test scores, but also to help them develop effective study habits, problem-solving skills, and confidence that they can carry into future classes.
