Hello! My name is Chinyelu, and I am a certified educator and instructional leader with more than 10 years of experience supporting student achievement in science, math, STEM education, and academic intervention. I hold a B.S. in Biology and Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master’s degree in Applied Cognitive Neuroscience and Human Development, and additional certifications in instructional leadership, ESL education, gifted education, math, secondary science, and research-based teaching practices.
Throughout my career, I have worked as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, curriculum specialist, STEM leader, and intervention educator. I have taught and supported elementary, middle, and high school students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My experience includes science and math intervention, STAAR preparation, STEM enrichment, study skills coaching, and executive functioning support. I have also partnered with teachers and school leaders to improve instructional practices and student outcomes across multiple campuses.
My tutoring approach focuses on building confidence while helping students strengthen academic skills and critical thinking. I believe every student can succeed when instruction is personalized, encouraging, and engaging. I work to break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, use real-world examples to make learning meaningful, and adapt lessons to fit each student’s needs and learning style.
Parents and students appreciate my ability to explain concepts clearly, create positive learning relationships, and make sessions both productive and supportive. Whether a student needs intervention, enrichment, test preparation, or ongoing academic support, I am committed to helping them grow academically and become more confident learners.
