Hello! I am an engineering graduate from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Computer Engineering and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering. During my undergraduate and graduate studies, I spent a significant amount of time tutoring students in mathematics and engineering topics. In addition to tutoring, I also helped TA and grade assignments for multiple courses, working with students to understand challenging concepts and develop stronger problem-solving skills. I believe my tutoring sessions focus on building understanding and confidence from a strong foundation.
I work with middle school, high school, and college students across many subjects, including Algebra I and II, Calculus I–III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and introductory programming in Python, C, and C++. I typically help students with homework, exam preparation, and developing a deeper understanding of the material. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide students through the reasoning behind each step so they can build confidence and develop the ability to solve problems independently. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenging material.
