I hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, where I graduated in 2014. I subsequently completed a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, also with a concentration in Structural Engineering, at the University of Michigan. I have approximately ten years of professional experience working as a structural engineer. I am a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York, having successfully passed the PE exam.
Throughout my career, I have worked on a wide range of projects across multiple markets, including educational facilities, commercial offices, high-rise buildings, arenas, stadiums, and mission-critical facilities. My experience spans various structural systems and building materials, and I have been deeply involved in technical analysis, design, coordination, and problem-solving across all project phases.
While I do not have formal classroom teaching experience, I currently serve as a project manager and lead a team of five engineers. In this role, I regularly mentor junior engineers, assign and review technical tasks, guide design decisions, and manage project schedules and deliverables. This has given me extensive experience explaining complex engineering concepts clearly, adapting my communication to different skill levels, and supporting others in developing both technical competence and professional confidence.
I am particularly interested in tutoring college-level students or working professionals who are pursuing engineering degrees or preparing for professional licensure exams. I prefer an online, one-on-one tutoring format, which allows for focused instruction tailored to each student’s specific goals, background, and learning style.
