Hey There! I'm Hasan!
Currently an incoming Freshman at Texas A&M for Computer Engineering, I have earned a 1540 SAT Score and the prestigious IB Diploma from Denton High School in Denton, Texas. Throughout my school life, I have helped many of my peers understand the nuances of various subjects - whether it be the intricate relation between slopes and derivatives or the confusing rules of grammar.
Even though I have only taught one student formally, I am confident that my lack of experience will be mitigated by my tutoring philosophy and approach. I believe and view each student as unique individuals; hence, by conducting only 1 on 1 sessions, I strive to grasp the specific thinking pathways and line of reasoning that each student contains. Accordingly, I try to formulate my explanations in a personalized manner- using relatable stories instead of boring numbers and funny acronyms instead of complex rules - to fit each student's demands and fully draw out their intuition.
Currently, I specialize in SAT MATH and SAT ENGLISH. Having done over 20 practice test from many different sources and almost all the SAT questions posted on College Board's official website (of hard and medium difficulty, till September 2024), I am up to date with the new Digital SAT and its different question patterns from the previous one. Given that my initial SAT score was in the 1300s, I know how difficult the SAT can feel. However, through rigorous learning sessions, I hope to teach my students using the same methods and high-quality materials that I utilized. These resources are all free and originate from established organizations like Khan Academy and the College Board themselves.
Through the use of such personal experience, my goal is to make my students my friends, and view problems especially from their perspective, crafting my lessons in a manner that shall not only foster their minds but also unlock their true intuition.
