As a recent Duke University grad with a double major in Computer Science and Biology, I bring a strong interdisciplinary foundation to my tutoring. My academic journey has included intensive coursework in biochemistry, organic chemistry, molecular biology, and physics—core components of the MCAT—complemented by my computational background, which strengthens my problem-solving and analytical teaching style. I scored a 524 on the MCAT (130, 131, 131, 132), a 100th percentile score, 1590 on the SAT, and a 36 on the ACT, and I’m excited to help students navigate the test preparation process for any of the MCAT, SAT, or ACT, or help with any computer science or general science-based subjects with clarity and strategy.
I have previously privately tutored for the SAT and ACT for 4+ years throughout college, and my experience extends beyond the classroom into hands-on research and mentoring. I’ve worked in multiple research labs, resulting in multiple publications, including at Duke’s School of Medicine, where I applied computer science and machine learning to biomedical problems—work that required deep comprehension of MCAT-relevant topics. I’ve also mentored undergraduates and peers through structured review sessions and one-on-one coaching, focusing on both content mastery and test-taking techniques.
