Group SAT/ACT prep classes and receiving essay feedback from college advisors are helpful, but even better, how about a one-on-one solution?
That's where I come in. I've received a 35 on the ACT (including a perfect score on the Writing section), and I've received acceptance into prestigious college programs, including BS/MD programs. With individual tutoring, I'll go the extra mile when meeting students' needs and providing them with an enjoyable experience. And I can back that up from experience: for a year, I tutored a middle school student in preparation for STAAR tests and reading, writing, and math. I would work with him through challenging problems and resolve any confusion about how to solve them. I've also had experience tutoring a group of 8 elementary schoolers in vocabulary, grammar, and syntax, and I would hold "office hours" afterward to brief their parents on their progress or to help students practice concepts they struggled with.
