At 4 years old I sat down at my mother's Grand Damascus treadle sewing machine and while one of my brothers treadled for me. I learned to sew making doll clothes. My love of sewing has grown over the years and I would love to teach others to sew and learn a wonderful dying art. I have helped young girls and boys to learn the basics and both of my sons know how to sew.
