Hello! My name is Erik R. I graduated from University of Houston-Downtown with a major in Math and minor in statistics. In college I realized math is actually not all that bad!! Tutors and professors helped me get through college, always keeping the lecture engaging and comprehensive. This triggered a passion of mine to tutor and mentor students throughout college.

Hello! My name is Erik R. I graduated from University of Houston-Downtown with a major in Math and minor in statistics. In college I realized math is actually not all that bad!! Tutors and professors helped me get through college, always keeping the lecture engaging and comprehensive. This triggered a passion of mine to tutor and mentor students throughout college.

Now I am a certified math teacher, and currently teach Algebra 1. Having a bit of extra time on my plate I have decided to help out students that are struggling with math whether it is elementary, middle, high school, or college. My goal is to help students fall in love with math as I did. It just takes a little help and motivation to go that extra mile and earn an A. As a tutor I will make our sessions engaging and comprehensive!!

I do believe that my several years of teaching experience and tutoring would make me a valuable asset in the lives of students in need of tutoring assistance. Prepared instruction
