I am an experienced educator with over 8 years of tutoring experience supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. I have a background in education management, having served as a Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center for two years, where I worked directly with students in both one-on-one and small group settings. In that role, I supported learners across a wide range of subjects and skill levels, with a strong focus on building foundational skills, improving academic confidence, and helping students develop effective study habits.

Throughout my tutoring career, I have worked with students as young as early elementary through high school, primarily focusing on math, reading, writing, and general homework support. My experience includes working with struggling learners who need step-by-step reinforcement as well as students who benefit from enrichment and consistent academic structure. I have also supported students in test preparation environments, though my current focus is on foundational academic support for grades 3 through 9, where I can help students strengthen core skills and boost confidence.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and adaptable to each student’s learning style. I prioritize making concepts clear and approachable, breaking down material into manageable steps, and ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can improve their skills, gain confidence, and become more independent in their academic work over time.
