I am currently a Health Science major pursuing a pre-dental path at Texas State University. My coursework has given me a strong foundation in subjects such as biology, psychology, and scientific study methods. As a student who regularly works through challenging science material myself, I understand how overwhelming these subjects can feel at first. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler steps so students can truly understand the material rather than just memorize it.
While much of my experience comes from helping classmates and peers prepare for exams and assignments, these experiences have allowed me to develop a patient and supportive tutoring style. I often help students review lecture material, prepare for quizzes and exams, and develop study strategies that make learning more efficient. My approach focuses on explaining concepts clearly, using diagrams or examples when helpful, and encouraging students to ask questions so we can identify where confusion begins.
I primarily work with middle school, high school, and introductory college students who are studying biology, psychology, or general study skills. During sessions I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through problems step by step. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them build confidence in their ability to learn and succeed in challenging subjects.
