Hi, I’m Iram Price, and I bring over 10 years of experience as a trainer, educator, and mentor with a focus on math, technology, and academic support.

I am senior at UHD and working on Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS), which gave me a strong foundation in both quantitative and technical skills. In addition, I’ve completed specialized training and certifications related to Microsoft Office, Excel, and law enforcement software systems during my time in the public sector.

I’ve spent the past 10 years training adults and professionals at a police academy, focusing on software systems, report writing, and Excel. This experience required me to break down complex systems into easy-to-understand steps — a skill I bring into every tutoring session.

I also have experience tutoring middle school and high school students one-on-one in math (up through Algebra) and English reading comprehension. One of my students maintained an A in AP-level math for two consecutive years with my help. I have worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds — including ESL learners, adult learners returning to school, and students with learning challenges.

My teaching style is patient, clear, and adaptive. I believe in building confidence by creating a safe space to ask questions and by celebrating progress at every level. Whether I’m helping a student prepare for a test, complete homework, or gain Excel skills for work, I tailor each session to their goals and learning style.
