An Experience tutor, graduate from Mid-America University with an Associates of Science and Bachelors In Biology, currently pursuing her M.D./PhD. I have experience in both tutoring and teaching adolescents and older students, throughout my university experience I had the opportunity to provide and hone in on science and communication skills in order to determine systematic approaches that cater to overall student success. I recognize that all students learn differently, and that is a part of what I love about tutoring - the chance to connect with students through pushing their cognitive processing skills to the next level. My focus is solely on the student, the first step is to be active in your learning and get the necessary help to reach success, and my job is to take it from there and help you produce the results you 're after.
What separates me as an excellent science tutor stems first from my passion for science as a whole. In school I consistently performed well regardless of the branch of science. My skills and knowledge are constantly growing and developing as I prepare for Medical School and therefore both my experience and desire to make connections in the world of science will be reflective as I take my students to the next level academically in their current and future coursework.
When it comes to speech, my experience includes debate, interviewing and presentation preparation, and overall knowledge as it relates to aspects of what makes a great speaker. I have a passion to give my students confidence in their day-to-day discussions and those big presentations that potentially may be a concern.
