New to Wyzant, old to the LSAT test prep world. It's remarkable how learnable this exam really is. A fact that I've proven to myself and countless others.

I’ve made every mistake you can make on the LSAT, and as someone who believes that often the best tutors are the ones who have struggled themselves, I provide a natural fit for those looking to fix the mistakes they’re making, too. Through working with thousands of students and my own journey, I’ve become intimately familiar with the LSAT’s patterns. Perhaps more important, though, I’ve come to understand the not-so-one-size-fits-all ways that different students of different strengths best learn those patterns. I’ve broken through several plateaus to score in the top percentiles. Though again, more important, I've helped countless others break through their own plateaus to score higher than I ever did on mine.

During our sessions, we'll explicitize what is for many high scorers an implicit or automatic process. Understanding what those processes look like in action is the first step to applying them automatically under timed conditions. Whether you’re just starting your LSAT journey, or whether you’re needing to hone the skills necessary to break through a plateau, I'll work with you to focus on what it takes to meet your goals.

Let me know if you’d like to schedule a *one-hour session for just $5*. This session is meant to do three things: (1) give us a chance to meet so I can learn about your goals and see if we're a good fit, (2) offering a sense of what sessions look like, and (3) offer suggestions about where best to direct your focus, while also offering resources (some free, some paid) based on where you are in your prep.

Look forward to meeting with you!

Proofreading

Proofreading, editing, and copyediting: -Personal Statements (JD, MD, PhD, and MA programs) -College Essays -Term Papers -more I have lots of experience helping people navigate the admissions process for JD, MD, PhD, and MA programs. Admissions officers often cite the Personal Statement as one of the most important aspects of an application (besides stats). In addition to the chance to introduce yourself, the Personal Statement is a chance to showcase your ability to communicate effectively. This writing should be as crisp and polished as possible. Not only grammar and syntax, good writing should demonstrate facility of language, varied diction, and above all, clarity!

From plateauing in the high 150s to scoring a 174 – Paul is incredible!

Paul is, without a doubt, the best LSAT tutor I’ve worked with. I was plateauing for months in the high 150s after I completed an expensive LSAT course and working with two tutors from a big name company. I learned more from working with Paul than from those resources put together. I went into test day averaging -1 per section and I scored a 174 on my exam! He clearly knows this exam and LSAC’s “way of thinking” like the back of his hand, but more importantly he was able to transfer that thinking to me. He diagnosed exactly where I was going wrong and broke things down in a way that actually made sense. You can tell Paul genuinely cares about his students. He’s not just invested in your LSAT score; he’s invested in your overall success. He helped me with everything from LSAT strategy to personal statements, law school resumes, and the admissions process. It’s obvious he’s more interested in seeing you improve than trying to show off what he knows. I consider Paul not just a tutor, but a friend through this whole process. If you’re serious about your LSAT prep, you can’t go wrong with Paul. He’s the best!

Remarkably helpful and insightful!

I participated in an LSAT group class with Paul and I cannot emphasize how useful and helpful the way that he conveys information is! He was able to identify EXACTLY where the LSAT was pulling the wool over my eyes with their needlessly long way of wording things and helped me break arguments down in a way that so obviously revealed the tricks that the test makers use. This was my first time working with Paul and I could not be more impressed by how much of a weight was lifted off my shoulders with just 90 minutes of working with a tutor, let alone in a group setting. I will certainly be reaching out for individual tutoring with him. 12/10 would recommend to my friends and family .

From 159 to 178 in 7 Months!!!

When I started prepping with Paul, I was stuck scoring around a 159 and felt genuinely uncertain about how much progress I could realistically make. But I worked with him consistently for seven months and on the June LSAT, I received a 178!!! In my view, that 19 point increase is the clearest evidence of the quality of Paul's instruction. What really sets him apart is his commitment to real understanding rather than superficial test taking tricks that other tutors would teach me. He doesn’t rush through material or give generic advice but every session was tailored to my specific needs based on review of practice tests and my error patterns. When he noticed recurring mistakes (in my case, conditional reasoning), he would rework our plan to drill them down together until the confusion was gone. He is also SO incredibly patient. He never made me feel rushed or left behind. Sessions often ran over time, and he would only move on from a topic when I genuinely understood it, not just when the hour was up. It’s easy to find tutors who are smart. It’s much harder to find someone who combines expertise and a willingness to invest as much in your outcome as you do. If you want someone who will actually help you master the exam and not just sell you hours GO WITH PAUL! My results speak for themselves :)"

Probably the best LSAT tutor you'll come across

I started working with Paul when I was struggling to break past a 158, and within just five months, he helped me achieve an incredible 175 on the LSAT this November. From the very beginning, Paul laid out a clear, step-by-step plan that tackled each section of the exam methodically. His lessons are well-structured and easy to follow, yet he customizes them to focus on the specific areas where you need the most help. What truly sets Paul apart is his patience and empathy: he never makes you feel bad for asking the same question multiple times. In fact, he encourages you to keep digging until you genuinely understand the concept, no matter how long it takes. He not only teaches the technical skills needed—such as dissecting Logical Reasoning questions—but also helps cultivate the confidence and mental resilience required to excel under test conditions. Paul provides valuable resources and test strategies, including how to manage time effectively and approach each question type systematically. He checks in regularly to assess your progress, adjusts your study plan when necessary, and always celebrates your improvements—no matter how small. If you’re serious about maximizing your LSAT potential, I wholeheartedly believe you’ll find nobody better than Paul. By choosing any other tutor, you’d be missing out on an outstanding mentor who genuinely cares about your success.

Patient, critical, and thorough!

During my session (weakening/flaw), Paul helped me to really focus on the my logic and close reading skill as a source for choosing an answer choice (right or wrong). This sort of thinking is something i’ve been implementing every time I review a question. It’s immensely helpful!

Above and Beyond LSAT Tutor

If the only thing Paul worked with me on was LSAT, his rate and teaching quality would already be one of the most competitive on the market. With his help, I raised my average PT 10-15 points in a month, and with his help, I raised my actual LSAT score 15 points. He was able to cater to my weaknesses and bolster my strengths. However, where he truly stands out is going above and beyond. It is obvious he really cares about his students. He helped me with the entire law school admissions process. He gave me feedback for my personal statements and law school resume, repeatedly, and was always available to answer smaller questions (LSAT or application) related. I have been tutored many times during high school and undergrad, and Paul is by far the best I have ever had. I cannot recommend him enough.

Wise, Experienced, and Passionate Tutor

When I first talked to Paul, I was scoring in the mid 150s on my LSAT. After just half a year of working with him, I scored a 171. Insane. Paul gave me a philosophy and the set of tools neccesary to tackle the lsat in every section. He has worked with prep companies in the past and knows the best tutoring techniques. I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their LSAT score.

Whatever your LSAT needs, Paul will help.

What can I say about Paul. He's the man. I was really careful in choosing an LSAT tutor because I knew I only had 3 months till the exam and needed to make the most of my time. I settled on Paul and I couldn't have made a better choice. I started at a 146 diagnostic score in June and received a 172 on the October administration. In a month of working with Paul I had aced Logic Games, missing none or maybe one per section max. With Logical Reasoning, he taught me how to pre phrase and identify flaws more effectively, and gave me tons of helpful tips and tricks when it came to the Reading Comprehension section. Not only was Paul the best tutor I could've possibly asked for, I also consider him a good friend and someone I can always reach out to for anything. Whatever your LSAT needs, Paul will help. The GOAT!!
