Hi! I am a current 4th year medical student and recent Biotechnology M.S. graduate of Rush University, and am excited to help you learn beyond memorization. As I prepared to apply to medical school and study for the MCAT I realized how important it is to learn the sciences beyond memorization, and make the connections that make the knowledge stick! I have tutored throughout college, from elementary to undergraduate levels, and really enjoy seeing people no longer dread science courses, but start to explore it further! I have received multiple academic honors, awards and scholarships on behalf of my interests and successes in my courses.

Through our sessions, you will learn the content, learn to apply it in an assessment format, but most importantly understand how the foundations and concepts continue to reappear throughout connect with each other. As a Lead Elementary School Tutor for over a year, I have worked with students in group settings and individually, both for extended periods of time. If it requires, I will prepare lessons ahead of time and provide additional practice to try after the lesson, tailored to your needs as a student and your style as a learner. My teaching style shows the concepts in a way that will give you the foundation to expand on with ease. Together, we will get you where you want to be!
