I've taught architectural drawing and design communication to UCLA students and worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. Alongside that, I've spent over 20 years working in architecture and design. That combination shapes how I teach. I'm less interested in walking you through where the buttons are than in showing you how these tools actually get used when there's a real project and a real deadline attached.

I tutor AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Rhino, and I'll meet your project wherever it currently is. Sometimes that means a studio project due at the end of the week that simply isn't coming together. Often it's something specific and maddening, like families or blocks that refuse to behave, or sheets that won't plot the way you need them to. Other times a model has gone sideways early and the fix is in the setup rather than anywhere you've been looking. And sometimes the goal is broader, building a workflow that carries from an initial sketch through floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.

My students tend to be architecture and design students, career changers building software skills for a job application, and working professionals moving between programs. Sessions run online over screen share, which for software instruction usually beats sitting side by side, since you drive and I watch and correct as you go. I also teach in Spanish and French if that's the language you think and design in.
