Bio

Samira Noorali, also known as Tara Seranova, has taught and performed music for over two decades. Specializing in voice, piano, songwriting, and music production, she works with students ages 3 and up and brings a wide range of experience across skill levels and musical goals.

Ms. Tara has created shows and performed at prestigious venues around the world, including the World Trade Center in Dubai and the Walt Disney Theater in Florida, among many others.

Ms. Tara has created shows and performed at prestigious venues around the world, including the World Trade Center in Dubai and the Walt Disney Theater in Florida, among many others.

She has recorded and performed with both Hollywood and Bollywood artists and has produced original work alongside Grammy Award-winning professionals in the music industry. Her students have gone on to earn both national and international awards, reflecting the high level of training, artistry, and mentorship she brings to every lesson.

After completing Calculus in high school I went on to take all of the math requirements for a BA in Psychology. I went all the way to Psych Stats.

I am an attorney and did really well in law school. I graduated with distinction and earned numerous scholarships. I additionally, I won Top Oral Advocate in Appellate and International Advocacy (all students in the school compete for this) as well as the Witkin Award for the highest grade in Appellate and International Advocacy. I went on to compete in moot court competitions and even taught an oral and written advocacy class at my law school (top students are selected for this). I then became a family law and business law attorney. I have since done a lot of lecturing and other kinds of public speaking. I'm also a professional writer and have a broad background in this area.

I've been teaching piano for nearly 18 years. I enjoy teaching kids and adults and mainly beginners to Intermediate level students. I have worked with curricula like Bastien, Schaum, Music for Little Mozarts, Hanon and many more. I also love to inspire all students to compose their own work as a part of lessons.

I have a BA in Psychology and have studied a lot of psychology from a legal perspective because I'm an attorney. I also hosted a radio show that covers a lot of Jungian theory.

I have a Juris Doctor degree in law. As a law student, I won awards for oral advocacy and represented my school in moot court competitions. As a lawyer, I fought for clients in court. Having a heavily artistic background, I eventually became a show director. Throughout my life, I performed as an actor (and musician) and later began working with actors to help them deliver their best!

I am a composer of orchestral and choral works. I have also written songs for piano and voice and enjoy helping others to understand the process of songwriting.

From training law students on oral arguments to preparing actors for their auditions, I have excelled in helping my students along. I am also a speaker myself. As a lawyer, lecturer and performer, I have had many opportunities to take lessons, self-teach, and practice my own skills so that I can empathize with the journeys of my students.

I have trained in opera for around 10 years and Hindustani Classical music for about 7 years. I also sang in many choirs. Eventually, I started teaching the art. I have been teaching voice for almost two decades Now and work with people who want to do pop, classical and even those who want to incorporate some Hindustani classical learnings into their overall voice education.

I am a professional writer. I have worked as the Creative Editor of a behavioral health journal, won awards for written advocacy as a law student, and have been published in several wonderful magazines, journals, and online news and information sources.
