I started learning Chinese in 2013 during my first semester of college. Coming from a non-native background, I found the struggle in learning a new language challenging, yet rewarding. Conquering every hill that came with a new chapter in a textbook became more motivation to me to push forward. In 2015, I transferred to the University of Houston where I decided to make this my undergraduate major. Since then, I have made many personal visits and trips to Taiwan on scholarship opportunities....

My language proficiency is far from fluent; however, I will always desire to continue my studies. I want to share my knowledge and help others reach their target language goals.

My efforts earned me two prestigious scholarships from the Taiwan Government Ministry of Education to study at different language schools and colleges in Taiwan; During this time, I've helped both Houstonians and people from other countries.
