Very bright and super patient
Joshua is very bright and super patient. He doesn't go the easy route and wants to make sure my son knows the materials, and not just be able to take a test. He does know many math shortcuts that I didn't know, or maybe just forgot over the years, which are very helpful in saving time. He is very methodical, thoughtful and super patient, in a way that I couldn't be. Are the lessons super fun for my son? No, but I see great improvement in his math in just 2 weeks and my son says he wants to stick with him, so I'll take it! Whether or not he gets an 8 or 9 on the ISEE, I feel good knowing that my son is learning new math concepts and is already ahead of the public school curriculum, which can only benefit him in middle school.
