I am a second-year PhD candidate in Mathematics at Rice University, driven by a passion for research and education. Pre-calculus -- Edgar is the best!!
My daughter's description of Edgar: kind, all-knowing, brilliant at explaining deeper concepts as well as how to address problems. He makes you feel comfortable learning complex material, even when you're struggling. All in all, he's godlike and masterful! I guess that sums it up. If you need a tutor, get Edgar!

Edgar teaches pre- algebra to my 7th-grader. He loves learning with Edgar and comes home having mastered the week's lesson. We use a program (AoPS) to which Edgar was not familiar at first. He quickly learned the method/program and is very comfortable teaching it.

Great tutor
Edgar is a Great tutor. He was extremely patient and worked with the same math problems with my daughter and got her understanding the geometrical problems better than her teacher was able to explain it to her.

Edgar has worked with my twelve year old son for two sessions now. He's friendly, patient, and committed.
