I have been a local artist for many years now. I've been involved in art gallery showings at War'hous, Jomar Studios, Zen Art Space, and East End Studios. I've worked on set of a few independent films, Pick-Axe Murders 3 (by Jeremy Sumrall) and Suicide Notes (by Travis Ammons) to name two, as part of the production crew and as art director. I won the award for best art in film for my artwork in a short film for Splatterfest Horror Film Festival 2013.
In addition, my work is affiliated with local internet radio broadcasts Punkstar Radio and Reach Down Radio where we support and showcase local artists, musicians, filmmakers, and businesses in the Texas area. I'm also affiliated with Houston's local charity organization, Houston Zombie Walk, where I volunteer in the SFX make-up department. I also showcase my work and body painting at other local events when possible.
Art is and will always be a part of my life today and further on. I've studied art throughout by entire education and graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Since then, I have kept working to improve my skills in drawing, painting, SFX make-up, and body painting.
I take my talent seriously. I recommend anyone with a drive to pursue art to do so as well. I will show you the techniques and the forms to take on the challenges that approach you. And though it is to be taken seriously, it's also a fun and exciting experience to learn how to create and bring to life your imagination. For me the creative process is the greatest part of it all.
