I graduated as Valedictorian and Student Body President of my high school class and went on to major in Engineering at Texas A&M University. There, I gained experience and knowledge in many different areas but I have always had an affinity for math - it is my specialty. In addition to Math, I also enjoy helping students obtain a better grasp on Reading and Language Arts. I am open and skilled enough to teach all subjects (Kindergarten through High School).

Though I don't mind tutoring adults and/or students that are above grade school I must say that I have had the most experiences educating students at the levels of Kindergarten through Middle School.

Also, I do realize that my rate is one of the lower ones. One reason for this is that I believe all students should be given the privilege of being tutored ... without being over charged. Education should not be expensive. It is something we all deserve so making my tutoring services affordable is something I have purposely done.

I have 20+ hours of in-classroom experience from a Teacher's Certification program that I took a few years ago, and I have about 1.5 years experience as a private tutor (both in-person and online). I am currently an independent contractor with a private tutoring company based in Texas. Four of my five tutees are in elementary.

Outstanding & Very Patient!!!

LeVon is an outstanding tutor that is very patient, understanding, and down to earth which helped my son become very comfortable and willing to learn on the first session. LeVon tutored my son for STAAR testing in Science & Math and because of her; he passed this year! She has a genuine love for helping students succeed.
