Sequel to the above mentioned experiences, I have developed different tutoring methodology and teaching style where students are empowered and trained to become independent learners and readers at their own pace. Students are encouraged to do assignments after each lesson to evaluate the depth of their understanding in the subject matter. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy. While taking classes on Philosophy, I was interested in the works of ancient, modern and contemporary philosophers. I wrote my thesis on the philosophy of Fredrick Nietzsche who was emotionally and psychological down and as a result declared that, "God is Dead." The central dialect of my argument was proving that God is dead. I have a flair for epistemology, logic, anthropology, ethics and political philosophy. I am inclined more on works of rationalist philosopher than works of existentialist thinkers. Thomas Aquinas is a medieval philosopher that has a great hold on me.
