I have over ten years’ experience in education, I am well versed in the areas of classroom management, discipline, lesson planning and administration issues in conjunction with state guidelines. I have provided instruction in special and general education classrooms, pre-kindergarten through high school. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to my students.
My strong initiative and exceptional organizational skills, combined with my ability to work well under pressure, will enable me to make a substantial contribution to your company. I have completed the Region IV Education Service Center Alternative Teacher Certification Program Generic Special Education EC-12 and as a graduate of the University of Nigeria, with a B.A. in English Language and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management Houston TX USA, with Distinction and concentration in Human Resources. I have experienced pedagogy in ways that will advance my understanding and compassion for learners of different backgrounds as an experience teacher over 12 years. I do make accommodations for some and modifications for others as they require specialized instructional strategies in a structured environment that supports and enhances their learning potential in the sense that they need differentiated instruction tailored to their distinctive learning abilities. I do not believe there is a challenge within the education field I have not experienced and therefore; am the ideal candidate and qualified to tutor in this specific subject.

My elementary Math qualifications include instructing children from kindergarten through sixth grade. I earned Teacher training courses which include child psychology, introductions to education, education psychology and using technology in the classroom, along with education seminars and at least two semesters of student teaching. I also play a key role in child development and introduce children to an array of subjects that includes mathematics. I earned a Bachelor of Art in Education (B.A.Ed.), student teaching experience and also earned a Master of Business Administration.

Great Techniques Taught

Ms. Angela is a very kind and enthusiastic tutor. She has given my twins great reading strategies and allows them to interact by giving their point of view. I think that sets her apart and helps her understand the level at which the child needs guidance. She also gives them something to work on to brush up until the next lesson. With only 2 lessons I already see improvement in the twins' reading and spelling.
