William is an excellent Calculus tutor. He was able to help my daughter understand and feels confident about Calculus. She also learns faster ways to derive to the same answers. I highly recommend Will.

Was very patient in reviewing trig, precal and cal 1 before moving on to Cal 2. I will definitely be using him again in the future. Highly recommend him!

William tutored my sons in Algebra 2 and in Calculus BC. He was extremely organized, knowledgeable and patient. He explained the material clearly, came up with a game plan for the semester and discussed strategies for making less errors on tests. His easy going demeanor made my sons feel less stress about their subjects. I highly recommend him as a tutor.

William does a fantastic job helping with material above my head. He can easily solve problems with no look at a book. His ability to do so makes the time with him more economical, show him a problem and he has no problem coming up with the way to solve it. Some tutors have problem with upper level college material but it seems no challenge to him.

Great tutor! Extremely nice guy and knows the material very well. I had him help me with Calculus 2 and he has made the class way easier for me. Highly recommend him!

William connected with my son very well. He has a very easy demeanor and my son enjoyed the hour. His comment when I picked him up was that it went very fast and he enjoyed it. High accolades from a 17 year old. I also appreciate the time that William spent with me discussing a game plan for the summer and what we can focus on at home in between tutoring sessions. Great match!

William helped me with my Calc II class and really helped me get a better grasp of the material. I learned more from one tutoring session with William than I did studying on my own for a week and a half. I highly recommend him for any math tutoring needs!!

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Teaching calculus is my primary duty as a university teaching assistant. As an undergraduate, I was employed as a tutor for the Texas Interdisciplinary Program, an honors program at UT Austin. I have been tutoring all levels of calculus for years, starting in High School and continuing through to now as a PhD student.

I am a PhD student in mathematics at Rice University. I am currently a teaching assistant for a differential equations course and therefore have a thorough knowledge of the course material and related subjects.

As a math major at UT, I took honors discrete math, in which I made an A.

I scored top marks (5) on both English Language and Literature AP tests and scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT writing section.

Even as a math major, I have taken a wide variety of writing intensive philosophy and English classes.

Linear algebra is one of the most fundamental areas of mathematics. I use it every day in my research and have tutored it extensively. I tutor both the computational and abstract sides of the subject.

I made a 2220 on the SAT with an 800 on the math section. While it is possible to attain 800 even while missing a few questions, I still answered every question correctly. This is extremely difficult and rare, even among SAT tutors.

During my 10 years of violin experience, I have been in principal or concertmaster positions with four orchestras, including the University of Texas Orchestra and the Sherman Symphony Orchestra. Along with being an experienced performer, I have taught both children and high school students of various levels.
