For the last thirteen years, I have been working as an adjunct instructor in the area of developmental mathematics at Houston Community College System (HCCS) and Lone Star College (Fairbanks Center). I teach all levels of the developmental math classes. I enjoy working in this environment, because the student population is rather diverse. Whether the students are young or old, I seem to relate well with them. Most of the students who come in at this level simply hate math or else they fear it. I enjoy the process of helping them see the simplicity of math by stressing the rules. Eventually, they develop confidence in their own abilities, and they realize that there is nothing to fear.

Great Teacher

I’m seeing improvement in my child’s confidence, and test scores. My child has also maintained a passing grade in Algebra since beginning tutoring.

Awesome and flexible tutor!

Mrs. G. worked with my son on a very short notice. He was pleased with her methods and felt that she was a major help. She provided valuable tips to use when working his Algebra II problems. We have used many tutors in the past and we feel that Mrs. G. is the perfect fit for our son. I wish that we had found her sooner!

Great Tutor

AMAZING! My daughter was very happy with the way she explain everything to her. She was able to have a better understanding of the probelms she has been having with Algebra 2. I will definitely be reaching out to her again.
