I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia with a bachelor’s degree in Ecology. I have experience working in education with children and adults. Most recently, I worked at The Goddard School, where I started as an Assistant Teacher and was later promoted to Lead Teacher. In this role, I prepared age-appropriate learning activities, supported children’s development, communicated with families, and worked closely with other teachers.
I also have experience providing one-on-one Spanish tutoring to an adult learner while I was studying English in New Zealand. For approximately four months, I helped her learn and practice Spanish through personalized lessons and conversation. This experience helped me understand the importance of adapting lessons to each student’s level, goals, and learning style.
As a native Spanish speaker, I can help students develop vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation skills, and confidence using Spanish in everyday situations. I enjoy making learning comfortable and engaging, and I am happy to work with children, beginners, and adults who want to improve their Spanish.
