I hold a PhD in Political Science and have several years of university-level teaching experience as a university lecturer. I taught undergraduate courses, including International Conflict, Introduction to Comparative Politics, Politics of Russia, and honors courses. I am also fluent in English, Georgian, and Russian and enjoy working with students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
Throughout my university teaching experience, I have worked closely with undergraduate students with varying levels of preparation and a wide range of academic interests. I have helped students understand complex political and international issues, develop strong arguments, interpret scholarly research, and improve their analytical and academic writing. My approach is to break down complicated concepts into clear and manageable parts, use concrete examples, and adapt each session to the individual student's needs and learning goals.
I am particularly well prepared to tutor college students in political science, international relations, comparative politics, government, and academic writing. I can also assist students with research projects, literature reviews, paper organization, developing research questions, and understanding both quantitative and qualitative political science research. My goal is not simply to help students with a particular assignment, but to help them develop the analytical skills, confidence, and subject knowledge they need to succeed independently in their courses.
