Hello! My name is Mark, and I am a 4th-year USMD medical student who scored a 270 (94th percentile) on USMLE Step 2 CK and an 83% on the CBSE (Practice Step 1). I also achieved multiple 80th–90th percentile scores on my NBME shelf exams during 3rd year.
I believe the key to succeeding on Step 1 and Step 2 is not simply knowing more information, it is knowing how to recognize what a question is really testing and efficiently use the information you already know. Rather than simply giving...

Helped Me Turn My Step 2 Fail Around from a 204 to a 237
From working with Mark I went from a failing Step 2 score of a 204 to a 237! When I received my failing score, I knew I needed to make some major changes to how I was preparing for the exam. Working with Mark made a huge difference! He taught me how to approach NBME questions strategically, recognize key clues, avoid common traps, and apply what I knew to choose the best answer. Instead of just reviewing content, our sessions helped me understand how to think through questions the way the exam writers expect you to. With his help, I improved my score 33 points! I would highly recommend Mark to anyone struggling with Step 2 or looking to improve their test-taking strategy. He helped me make real progress and gave me a much better understanding of how to tackle this exam!

INCREDIBLE
Far exceeded my expectations! Working with Mark, my score jumped FIFTY points... FIFTY! His explanations of content are thorough, for sure, but more importantly he taught me how to approach questions and think like a test writer. It had a huge impact on my score and got me to my goal quickly!

Extraordinary Tutor for Step 2
Mark recently took Step 2 in April and has a very intimate knowledge of Step 2 and NBME style that I find to be very different from AMBOSS or UWorld. I think what makes his guidance so valuable for this exam is that he has memorized and understands the most recent NBME forms. So even random, obscure questions I would pull up from the NBME, he would respond, "Oh, I remember that question," and point out the key phrases/traps I would need to look out for. The exam has changed so much that it is hard to know what is high-yield. He also did a great job in giving me a study plan right before my exam, what resources I should use and what to avoid. Can't recommend him enough, wish I met him sooner during dedicated.
