With a B.A. in English, an M.S. in Marketing, and more than 20 years of experience in business communications, marketing, and education, I specialize in helping students and professionals navigate high-stakes communication challenges with confidence and impact.

Whether you're facing an important interview, presentation, or public speaking engagement; building a professional resume; or drafting a college admissions essay, I provide practical guidance and a clear plan for success.

My approach focuses on both message and delivery. Strong communication isn't just what you say; it's how you say it. Having studied at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Film and TV program, and trained at the Houston Academy for Dramatic Arts, I bring performance techniques to my coaching in public speaking and interview prep. Through live rehearsals and real-time feedback, I help you organize your ideas, strengthen your delivery, and build confidence in high-stakes situations.

I can also help with the visual side of presentations, from structuring talking points and determining what belongs on the slide to shaping engaging visuals that support your message. My background includes extensive experience developing presentations in PowerPoint and Canva.

I also work with ESL/ESOL students to strengthen communication skills, with a focus on pronunciation, accent modification, speaking, and writing.

Accent Reduction

Accent Reduction

I help English learners and non-native English speakers reduce pronunciation challenges and communicate more clearly, naturally, and confidently, especially in professional, academic, and presentation settings. With a B.A. in English, an M.S. in Marketing, more than 20 years of communications experience, and additional training in acting and voice, I combine pronunciation practice with the communication skills that make speech easier to understand and more effective. My approach is personalized and practical. We identify specific sounds, word stress, pacing, intonation, and speech patterns that may affect intelligibility, then work through targeted exercises and repeated practice. I also focus on how pronunciation connects to confidence, presence, and audience connection. The goal isn't to erase someone's identity or natural voice, but to help them speak English more clearly, comfortably, and confidently.
Acting

Acting

I have training in acting and performance through the Houston Academy for Dramatic Arts, with experience in stage and screen-based fundamentals including monologues and scene work. My background in English, marketing, and public speaking strengthens my understanding of storytelling, presence, and audience engagement. I help students build confidence, presence, and foundational performance skills for auditions, practice scenes, and general acting development. My coaching focuses on developing natural, grounded delivery and reducing performance anxiety so students can feel more comfortable and expressive.
Career Development

Career Development

I help students, professionals, and career changers turn uncertainty into a clearer career direction. My coaching supports key stages of the job search, from navigating a career transition and building your personal brand to preparing for interviews, refining your resume, and developing an effective job search strategy.

Interview Prep

With a B.A. in English, an M.S. in Marketing, and 20+ years of professional communication experience across both business and education sectors, I help clients structure high-impact answers, master live interview dynamics, and speak with authentic confidence under pressure. My coaching covers both job interview prep (across corporate, marketing, technical, medical, and engineering roles) and college/graduate admissions interviews. My background also includes performance training from the Houston Academy of Dramatic Arts and on-camera production study through NYU's Film & TV Program. Combining this background with my corporate communication experience gives me a unique ability to help clients refine their presence, pacing, body language, and delivery. Rather than giving generic advice, I come to our sessions prepared with customized visual frameworks, structured notes, and tailored response templates so you can organize your thoughts quickly and navigate tough behavioral or technical questions with ease. How We Work Together: Drawing on a documented history of helping clients overcome interview anxiety, sharpen their storytelling, and secure roles, our sessions focus on clear, actionable preparation. Over live screen share and interactive mock interviews, we focus on: • Job & Corporate Interviews: Structuring STAR-method answers, refining elevator pitches, tackling technical or scenario questions, and navigating high-stakes panel interviews. • College & Academic Admissions: Crafting memorable personal narratives, framing academic goals, and practicing high-pressure university admissions interviews. • Presence & Delivery: Overcoming delivery challenges, improving articulation and pronunciation, building body language confidence, and reducing performance anxiety. Whether you are a student prepping for a university interview or a professional aiming to land your next role, I provide the exact preparation, frameworks, and practice you need to walk in confident, speak with impact, and succeed.

With a B.A. in English and an M.S. in Marketing, along with extensive experience in professional communications and messaging, I help students craft clear, compelling personal statements and application essays. My background in marketing and storytelling allows me to help students identify their strengths and present their experiences in a structured and authentic way. Master both what you say and how you say it, from slide deck structure to confident room delivery. Through low-pressure, live rehearsal sessions, I will help you build confidence and feel fully prepared for presentations, interviews, and other high-stakes speaking situations. Great public speaking requires two things: a crystal-clear message and compelling delivery. Bringing together 20 years in corporate marketing and executive communications with formal training from NYU Tisch (Film/TV) and the Houston Academy for Dramatic Arts, I offer end-to-end presentation coaching. I work with business owners, young professionals, and students to build tight slide narratives, overcome performance jitters, and master natural speech patterns. Interview Skills-helpful and easy to work with

Kimberly helped me with my interview skills, how to approach the questions, techniques to tactfully pause and how to not look so serious. I generated my own list of potential questions and my answers, then we worked through them and practiced the delivery. This was very helpful to figure out where I was falling short, methods to help me improve and to help build confidence.

Excellent Tutor

Kimberly was excellent. She broke down new concepts clearly and was patient with answering my questions. She also came prepared into our session with notes and a framework that helped guide us. I am a visual learner so I was thrilled when I saw the notes she prepared. Having these notes visually in front of me helped me understand concepts quicker and allowed me to listen actively. She also answered all my questions without judgement, and we reviewed concepts until I understood them.
